Cross Country, Wrestling, Tennis, and Track & Field: all can participate — no tryout necessary. Registration information will be handed out on the first day of practice. For sports with tryouts, registration info is shared after team selection. Email athletics staff with questions.

How athletics works
Procedures
Team selection, eligibility, transportation, and rainouts — everything families need before the season starts.
Students are placed on teams based on grade, skill level, and work ethic. Due to high interest and limited space, some sports may hold tryouts. Most sports field 7th- and 8th-grade teams.
- •Cross Country, Wrestling, Tennis, and Track & Field: all can participate — no tryout necessary. Registration information will be handed out on the first day of practice.
- •Wrestling is divided by weight classification into Varsity & JV.
- •Cross Country and Track & Field have four teams: 7th Boys, 7th Girls, 8th Boys, 8th Girls.
- •For sports with tryouts, selections consider attitude, skill level, and academic standing.
- •The Valley Athletic League is competitive, not solely recreational.

After school from 3:05 PM until about 4:30–5:00 PM
